🃏 Guess That Grade
A Discord bot that posts a real PSA-graded card and asks your server one question: what grade did it get?

- Anyone runs
/play. The bot posts a real PSA-graded card — front and back. - Everyone taps a button from 1 to 10 to guess the grade.
- Your guess is private. Only you see the confirmation, so nobody can copy the room. Tap a different number any time to change your mind.
- When the timer runs out — 2 minutes by default — the card's real grade is revealed along with everyone's guesses and the points they earned.
The bot doesn't know the answer while you're guessing. The grade stays on guessthatgrade.com's servers and is only fetched once the round closes.
Points
Points come from how close your guess was. That's it — there's no bonus for guessing fast, and no bonus for cards other people got wrong.

Streak bonus
Get the exact grade several rounds in a row and each hit is worth more: +10% per consecutive exact grade, up to +50%. So a fifth exact grade in a row is worth 150 instead of 100. One wrong answer resets it.
Because a card the community misses usually means the grader was inconsistent on that one — not that the card is genuinely harder to read. Paying out more for those would reward guessing what a bad grade looked like, which isn't the skill this is trying to measure.
Ranks
Your rank is a title based on your total points in that server. It goes up
as you earn points and never goes down. Nothing is gated behind a rank — it's a badge that
shows on your /me profile.

All PSA terminology. "Pop 1" is population-report speak for the only card known at that grade — the rarest thing PSA can say about a card.
Leaderboards
Four separate boards, because one number can't be fair to everyone. Run
/leaderboard and pick one.

Every board is per-server. Your points in one Discord server are completely independent of your points in another. These boards are the bot's own — the website has its own separate leaderboard, though your individual guesses do count toward it. See the FAQ.
Contests
A contest is a named stretch of time — whoever earns the most points inside it wins. Useful for "most points this weekend gets a pack" without disturbing anything permanent.

Points earned during a contest count toward the contest and your all-time total and rank, at the same time. Nothing is reset, and ending a contest changes nothing on the main leaderboard. The bot records every individual guess with a timestamp, so a contest is really just a question asked of that history — which is also why standings can never drift out of step with what actually happened.
One contest runs at a time per server. When it ends, the bot posts the final standings in the channel where it started.

/me includes a "your tell" line — whether you consistently
over-grade or under-grade, worked out from the average direction of your misses.

Anyone with Manage Server can change these. Discord hides
/config from everyone else.

FAQ
Can I keep it to one channel?
Yes — /config channel channel:#your-channel. Rounds started anywhere else get
a private nudge pointing at the right channel.
Can I run a contest over a set period?
Yes. /contest start name:"Weekend Showdown" duration:"3 days" prize:"a raw Charizard"
starts one, and whoever earns the most points inside that window wins. The bot announces
the winner automatically when time runs out.
Contests are completely separate from the all-time leaderboard — running one doesn't reset anything, and points earned during it still count toward your all-time total and rank at the same time. See Contests.
Do Discord rounds count on guessthatgrade.com?
Your guesses do. A round played here counts toward your accuracy, your total and your streak on the website, against the same Discord account — so if you sign in to the site with that account, everything you've played shows up in one place.
Your bot points and rank don't. Those are per-server and stay in Discord. Nothing about your server is sent to the website either — only the guess itself.
Can people cheat by guessing in a second window?
There's nothing to see — the grade isn't published anywhere until the round ends. Guesses are private, so copying the room doesn't work either. The card is on the website, so someone determined could search the cert number; the timer is short enough that it's more effort than it's worth.
What does the bot store about me?
Your Discord user ID, your display name, and your scores. It does not and cannot read your messages — it never requested that permission from Discord. Full detail in the privacy policy.
What's coming?
A daily challenge card that's the same for every server, automatic rounds on a schedule, head-to-head matches, and Discord roles awarded automatically at point milestones.
